Item Stats

Introduction

There's a lot of data available for weapons and armor through the API. Tracking these stats over time could be useful.
There are also a lot of not-so-useful stats that might still be interesting to look at.

These are some of the questions you can answer using this:

  • How many critical hits is your fancy ranked war weapon getting?
  • Which piece of armor got hit the most during that ranked war?
  • How many hits did you make when you received loot?
  • How many times did you reload your harpoon or blowgun?
  • Who first owned that weapon and when did it come into existence?
  • What's the highest damage done by your pillow?

Filters

There are two filters available, a master item type toggle and a search bar. The search bar will filter the items as you type but the responsiveness will depend on the number of items in your inventory, and your device.

Filters

You can use the search bar to filter by item UIDs, item names and item types. You can also type "new" to see new items, if there are any.

Getting Started

Once your inventory is loaded, click on Load Item Stats to see any information available for that item. Older items won't have everything tracked so some fields will be empty for those.

Load Item StatsLoaded Item Stats

Note that the stats you see are the item's overall stats, not just what you did with it, unless you are the only person to have used that item.

The difference between two measurements while you are using the item will likely be more useful.

Once the stats are loaded, they will be saved and retrieved on your next visit.

Updating Stats

If some time has passed and you want to update an item's stats, you can do so by clicking on the item image.

Update Item StatsUpdated Item Stats

You will notice that the second date in the date range selector found under the item name has changed and some numbers may have appeared in brackets.

The values that were originally there have been updated to current values and the numbers in brackets are the changes between the first and second date shown in the date range selector.

Any time you update an item's stats, it will switch to using the last two updates.

New Items

On subsequent visits, if a new item was found in your inventory, it will show up with a green border.

You can also type "new" in the filter to see any new items.

New Item

Note that if you navigate away from the page and come back, it will not show up as new anymore since it will be found in the inventory save.

Choosing Dates

If you have loaded an item's stats multiple times in the past and you want to compare different dates other than the last two updates, you can click on the date range selector.

This will bring up a list of all available dates with the current selection highlighted in green.

Choose DateCurrent Dates

Click on the dates to toggle selection. Select any two dates you want, or select only one date if you don't want to see the difference between two dates, then click Apply.

The date range will be updated and you will see the stats for the selected date(s). In this case, there were no changes in item stats between the selected dates, so no difference is seen in brackets.

Deleting Stats

If you want to delete an item's stats, first click on the date range selector to view the list of saved dates.

Choose DateDelete Dates

Select any dates you want to delete, then click delete.
Note that dates highlighted in green (if less than 3 dates are selected) can still be deleted.

Helper Userscript

An optional helper userscript is available on the Userscripts page to show item UIDs on the Torn Items page.

You can paste this UID in the search bar on the Item Stats page to find that specific weapon.

Choose Date

If you want to find a specific weapon without the script you could always just move duplicates to your display case so you only see the one you want on the Item Stats page.

You can also export some item details that are not available through the API to have them displayed on the Items Stats page.

Choose Date

You will find this on the Torn Items page. Simply follow the instructions there then click the paste icon in the top right of the Item Stats page.

You will now see additional item details!
